Innovation, inspired by vision, determination to make vision a reality has been with us since the beginning of civilization. Innovation one could argue is the result of vision followed by tireless, relentless work and effort resulting in vision becoming everyday reality.
Let’s go to the Moon, or in 2025 let’s go to Mars. The vision of going to the Moon was realized in the 1960’s. The vision of going to Mars will likely be realized in the 2030’s. These are examples of what Innovation resulting from vision, achieved with hard work and relentless effort to make vision a reality.
Innovation does not focus on the quick buck or easy money. Innovation is long term by nature. Financial reward is a byproduct naturally following the fulfillment of vision through hard work, sweat, tears, and trials. The result is innovation that achieves benefits for individuals, groups, and societies. Things that behave or work consistently do so because they are executed correctly, they are done right. Shortcuts cannot sustain long term structure. This is what makes innovation special and unique. No matter the subject, innovation leading to positive and beneficial results should be sought, honored, and respected. Think about it.
